2018 Barbera d'Asti

logo-ws-rb-250x75.png

The Tenuta Garetto 2018 Barbera d'Asti Superiore opens to an informal display of dark cherry, dried raspberry and wild plum. This is a classic expression of the Barbera grape from the Asti subregion that always shows more bitterness and acidity compared to the softer renditions we get in the nearby Alba area. That kind of freshness opens this wine up to a pairing with fried foods.
