Meet the people who dream, envision, collaborate, and commit to making Italy's top-scoring, family-owned, and estate-driven wines accessible to the US, so we can all live deliciously!
Michael grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area during the gourmet food and wine revolution, so it should probably come as no surprise that he ended up in the world of Food & Wine. Working in restaurants during college in L.A. introduced him to the world of professional Chefs and Sommeliers. After opening several restaurants across the west, Michael began working with the E&J Gallo Winery, eventually rising to become an executive at their global headquarters. His initial wine studies were focused on Italian wines, so it is no coincidence that he now owns Enotec with his wife Lynette and a cherished group of partners. When not cooking(or eating), you can find Michael playing with his kids, the family’s 2 charcoal Labradors Tank and Timber, or maybe even Flyfishing somewhere fun.
Lynette spent 29 years in Technology and Management Consulting, defining and implementing process and technical improvements for her clients and now brings her experiences to Enotec, where she is bringing automation and efficiency to our processes. When she's not working, you can find her around a big dinner table with her extended Italian family, enjoying entertaining conversation with a great glass of wine.
Jessica is a transplant Coloradoan who studied Accounting at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Prior to joining the wine world, she worked as an auditor for a Phoenix-based public accounting firm. When she’s not getting excited about working on spreadsheets, you can find her hiking or biking the outdoors with her husband and animals, trying a new recipe in the kitchen, or reading a good book.
After running restaurants for two decades it was time to settle down. I studied beer for years so I ended up in the wine industry - makes sense! If I’m not filling out oodles of state paperwork for monthly compliance you will find me with friends, a cat, a Subaru and some camping gear - hiking somewhere in Colorado.

Paul Rickert’s food and wine career has spanned more than three decades. Paul began his career working in restaurants in the front of the house. He eventually moved to the back of the house becoming a chef. For the next twelve years he worked with award winning Chefs including Worfgang Puck, Judy Rodgers and Vincent Guerithault in addition to honing his skills in Ireland and Italy. With a strong connection to wine through food he made the move to wine distribution eventually becoming the General Manager for a boutique wine, craft beer and spirits distributor in Arizona. During his time with the distributor he developed a passion for Italian wines which propelled him into becoming the brand manager and educator for all Italian imports. This created a longstanding relationship with Enotec Imports which led him to joining the team in 2016. Paul has found that a passion for all things Italian has inspired him throughout his entire career and is thrilled to represent artisanal family-owned Italian wine offerings in the Western United States.
